In May 2014, singer/guitarist Mike McCann walked away from a six figure career and corporate lifestyle to become an independent rock artist. Initially forming Raven Tree as a solo project, Mike welcomed the addition of bassist Phoenix Johnson in September 2016, with Jeff Gardner and Tony Lotierzo on drums.
Over the last 6 years Raven Tree has become a hard edged, blues rock powerhouse, having released two full length LPs two Christmas EP's, several videos and three singles, while touring regionally. Notable performances have included shows at the historic Trocadero Theatre (Philadelphia), The Lincoln Memorial and The National Sylvan Theatre (Wash.DC), Baltimore Soundstage, and opening for a variety of national acts.
Raven Tree has been compared to such acts as Rival Sons, Stone Temple Pilots, Greta Van Fleet, and Foo Fighters, with the classic influences of Van Halen and Led Zeppelin.
